Important news!
On the 24th of October 2017, KVWJ signed on the air to serve the citizens of Hyrum and the surrounding communities with programming that provides entertainment and is aimed at covering the issues that face the South Valley. Much has happened in those seven years: A world-wide pandemic, the loss of loved ones, and political turmoil to name a few. KVWJ has weathered them all and continues to fulfill its mission and purpose with an eye to the future - the investment in new computers and a new transmitter, additional programs, and appointing a full-time staff member to manage daily operations.
As KVWJ is a labor of love and devotion, it will take many who believe in what we do in order to move our humble operation into a new purpose-built structure. This will require the donation of time and talents of many individuals who want to see KVWJ continue to grow and expand in its mission and in over-the-air program offerings. It is with this in mind that the board of directors of Alumni Records seeks community input at a meeting which will take place on Tuesday, September 24th at 7pm in the first-floor conference room of the Hyrum Branch of Cache Valley Bank, 815 East Main Street, in Hyrum. We value our listeners' opinions, desire input from local business owners and civic leaders, and wish to hear from you.
